TO INFINITY AND BEYOND! | Adler Planetarium, Chicago

Last week, I headed back to Chicago for a few days to join the munchkins on their Spring Break adventures….

I landed at O’Hare (after enjoying quite the view of the city from the air), and we headed straight to the Adler Planetarium, where the kids learned all about solar flares, telescopes, UV rays, space travel, and the stars and planets.

Stay tuned for more of our time in the city!

RACHEL & NEIL | Washington, DC Engagement Session

I asked Rachel and Neil what they wanted to do for their engagement shoot — something that reflected their lives and interests — and their first request was to do something in the neighborhood. And since their neighborhood is also MY neighborhood, I was completely on board. ;-)

We started off at their apartment (in the gorgeous Kennedy Warren building in Cleveland Park, which is also the site of their wedding next month) for some time with their puppy (and a quick serenade on the piano) and then wandered the neighborhood.

With the slight exception of their favorite Irish bar (I swear allegiance to the dearly departed Ireland’s Four Provinces, while they are fans of Nanny O’Briens), these were also some of my favorite spots. (As you might recall from this post….) And a quick mid-session beer stop? Don’t mind if we do…. (although sadly you can’t eat Vace pizza while shooting….bummer!)

Can’t wait for your wedding, guys!
